How to act and master group discussion? 

In the other area is the team coordinator. It happen was of the time two or three of the people fight for the space of the group leader in the group discussion. Therefore, you can play the role of the coordinator. You can help the group to find a leader who is wise and at the same time resource.

How group discussion begins – Group discussion begins by the allotment of the topic to the group and the group is asked to ponder over the topic for 2 – 3 minutes and once the time is over then you can always starts the discussion. You have to remember certain trap laid out by the employer in the group discussion.

What are these trap – these are trap regarding that the employer tell you while telling the topic that this is a group discussion and there is no leader and everybody has got the right to speak in the group. This way he is creating the confusion in the group that there is no leader and everybody is free to speak at his own will.

But you have to remember that group discussion is a team effort and since the freedom is given in the group doesn’t mean that you have to go way like the uncontrolled animal in the discussion. Because the task has been given and now the onus in on group that group constructively move ahead to reach some conclusive end.

Besides sometime it happen that only two or three member are actively participating and the rest of the group is not participating. Then as the true leader it is you duty to give opportunities to those people to speak up also. If you are giving chance to others that means you are true team leader with right team spirit.

If you are confused at some point it is better you keep quite for sometime and listen to what others are saying. After collecting good points from the group, you can start speaking substantially by appreciating those members who have pointed out those good point as the leader always encourage right thought of the group to follow by others.
